Myrde's Automaton
The automaton arrived at the franklin institute in a broken little heap. The machinists there fixed it up as best as they could, and in 19 32, they set it up for public display. It was used almost like a vending machine. Put a quarter in, get a drawing, over and over and over for decades. By the mid 19 nineties, the automaton was in such a bad state that it was unable to write or draw without further damaging itself. And now we're getting to the point where myrde's automaton meets the guy you've been hearing tell this story, andrew baron with the clock shop in santafe.
