He's not just talking about the unification of the sciences. He's also trying to break down the barriers, distinctions between science and the arts. The reason he's saying that is because not all the arts can be acquired by the same man. If you learn farming and learn heart playing, those are different things. And so he'll point us to being concerned about what the truth of the actual things you are reasoning about are and how you get there.
