The Challenges to Religious Faith

What I call horrendous evils threaten to ruin the positive significance of a person's life. Traditionally, these sorts of evil have been a challenge to religious believers' faith because it's hard to believe that a good God would allow such things to happen. But I think it's also a problem for unbelievers because the world is riddled with what I've called horrendous evils. They're not a rare thing and it's easy to become a participant in them. And thousands, millions are participating in them now even as we speak.
