As cell-based therapies move closer to reality, there's still significant challenges to construction of tissues at practical scales and more traditional paradigm of organ tissue transplantation. My vision has a lot to do with really this very deep and variant between the question of mind and the question of pattern. I'm certainly not the first person to think this way. Alan Turing, who's one of the forefathers of computer science, was very interested in artificial intelligence and in mind or various embodiments of mind.
