Sonic mania has the same physics as sonic mania maybe like a top speed is different or something like that but then the wild thing too is christian whitehead who led the development on sonic mania he was on twitter being like i can't go into details. It makes sense that the sonic mania engine would work well in 3d or with 3d models like so he was implying they converted that engine or they had plans to convert it. The way he was facing really controlled how he moved more so you couldn't do a lot of like quick movements with him this and that seems weird for sonic i agree it looked a little a little sloish both the hell
