Francis Vukiyama is Hearst Professor of Public Policy George Mason University outside Washington, D.C. Amos Oz has lived most of his life under kibits, under kibbutz, only recently moving to Arad, a town in the Negev Desert. He's been an active campaigner for peace in his country and has been in London talking about fundamentalism. His latest book is The Great Disruption, Human Nature and the Reconstitution of Social Order.
