There are many countries that have very weak regulation, sometimes no regulations. That's a concern because it means that they can be a home for people who want to do controversial things or to do things with the aim of making money rather than actually curing patients. The WHO published a report in 2021 looking at governance and there are multiple ways that you can help to try and control the activities in this space. Those have to be used but everyone has to participate in those. And so you've got to have people willing to discuss with their peers what they're doing otherwise it's going to go horribly wrong.
