The Life Cycle of Worms in Rural Areas

Worms reproduce sexually in the human host, and those adults will release eggs that are released into the bladder or into the intestines. Those eggs hatch in fresh water bodies and become near a cydia, which is the first free-living larval stage. The adult worms then swim through the water, searching for a snail intermediate host.
