The Importance of Time in Cinema

Time is the way in which at least for the last class subject takes on a dynamic unity. If we have a tight close up on an actor's face right there's something intimate about that. And then there's a like proximity to it proximity in the sense of like our sympathy, if you will. Close up can really convey emotion in a way that a shot from far away may not but let's even that asidelet's go back to like the difference between like a close up and a wide shot. The way things are perceived to kind of go what I'm saying there. There's a different nature of time there right between those two.
