Do You Have a Customer Experience Team?
When I worked for BP, I noticed that we didn't have a really mature customer insight or customer experience team. So I spotted a problem and I basically pitched a position. And so that was a way that I got to do more of what I wanted. It's definitely a way, it doesn't have to be a permanent position. But it gets you to spend more time on it and it helps people to see you in a way that they might not be doing in what you're working on at the moment.
