Why Do We Complain?
We have a tendency to think the mind is this negative thing, because it's not serving us any more. We can't live in an uncertain world so we gain control over circumstances by complaining. In that story telling mechanism, all sense as to feel good. That's why you gossip. You gossip with other people. It's the most sure fire way to bond with somebody else. And then if you can talk about people, and it's easier to talk about the negative than is about the positive, because allo a sudden to inflate, it lifts you up as well.
