Santos - The Costs of Suspension of a Subsea Pipeline

Santos was planning to decommission its existing subsea gas pipeline and build a brand new 260km pipeline. But construction hasn't quite gone to plan for Santos, as it has had to suspend drilling operations in the Timorsey region of Australia. A federal judge sided with the TUI people who said that should this project move forward, it would have long lasting and negative impacts on the local ecosystem.
