Anne Bolin's Life and Death

Anne Bolin, wife of Henry VIII, was executed by a French swordsman. She had been sent overseas to complete her education and become an eligible wife for a noble man. In 1522 she returned to England and joined the royal court where she became Catherine of Aragon's so-called lady in waiting. The young woman turned heads at court; there were plenty of young men who took note of her. Initially though, these did not include the king, Henry.
