The Selection Process Is Very Variable
The selection process is really varied. In some communities, i found in one village in hirat, they were using ballot boxes,. But it's a consensus procedure. So if someone has to be selected to be the molock, it's a consent, like the lusa sura process, to select that person. And sometimes it's hereditary, because the familyis well liked. Theyre seen as defending the interests of the community. The mola might even stay there for a significant part of their working life - let's say 10 years.
