How Do We Connect Cryptography to Fairness and Bias?

In fairness, what we try to do in our line of research is to look at how computational resources affect notions of fairness. In cryptography, when you encrypt the message and you send it, it usually contains all the information that you want to hide. So now that we are discussing it in the context of computation, we need to understand computational limits.
