What's Next for China in 2023?
2023 will be the first year of Xi Jinping's third term. The next few years are going to be incredibly important for him to set a standard and to lay the groundwork for that fourth term. I'll be looking at how externally China seeks to improve its relations with the West, particularly Europe as it comes out of a very strict dynamic COVID zero policies. We might potentially also see more engagement with the West,. but it will be interesting to see how China approaches its relationship with the West which have severely deteriorated over the last three years. How well-baiting balance that with Its relations with the global South? And what do the Global Development Initiative (GDI) and other initiatives mean
