The Origin Story of Juliana's Career

The Beagle voyage was a five year voyage mostly around South America and it was his contact with this wonderful and unfortunately extinct mammal that got him thinking along these lines. Juliana's career was in a sense launched by a Fox in the Southern cone as well. And so I was there tagging these Foxes and looking for their scat to analyze what they were eating when I encountered an amazingly beautiful orange mushroom on a tree stump. That was really my universal cue to starting the work that I continue to do now. Twenty something years later, almost twenty five.
