Richard Brown moved to Vietnam over 20 years ago. He was based in Chulai which is about 50 miles down the coast at an airbase with the Marines as an ordnancemen loading bombs and missiles, he says. The Viet Cong of VC were South Vietnamese guerrilla fighters who were trained by and supported the Communists north. "I thought these people were just like us they were just young people fighting for their country"
