Is There a Transgressive Aspect to Christianity?
I think that Christianity has always been very, they've kind of been harsh about it. You don't need to bring everything into these, in the problem is that people always want to have one system that encompasses everything. And basically what I kind of argued here is that you cannot do that. That's not possible. You need to have some kind of religion or some kind of guidance that is there for times of prohibition. So you need both prohibition because you can't live in ritual time and transgressive time at the same time. It's like a revaluation of all values," he says.
