Is There a Lot of People in Trade Unions?
There aren't enough trades unionists or union members any more to drive that engine of labor party politics. People underestimate there's six and a half million people in t u c unions. Another probably two million in unions thatare not in the t varl, like the b m a and the holigo nursin big unions. So tet's about eight or nine million people in trade unions altogether. But a lot of people with as much two wastes or egportion than it was when you were on the building side.
