The Importance of Effect Size in Clinical Studies
The technical definition of a p value is the probability that the results would be what they were or greater given the null hypothesis. But sadly, that's how we do all of our statistics is based on null hypothesis. For clinical studies, effect size is critical. And it's not just like what's the effect size, but is it clinically significant? You can also slice that data up differently to make it more intuitive.
