The Importance of Parallel Programming
In 1994, the first version of concurrent programming in airline was introduced to a university class. It took two people 60 hours to solve exactly the same problem - three times to original time. The right tool at hand is usually not necessarily which is being pitched as the right tool for the job. I think there are going to be a lot of ideas and concepts which will be taken from airline and put into future programming languages.
