The Importance of Working on a Farm

Greta Thumburg: I wish I would have grown up on a farm. We need to demystify the farming and show us why we as a society are so alienated and isolated because we have forgotten not just farming, but our connection to land at all 100 years ago. Wendell Berry laments that for years we've talked about losing all of our family farmers and yet we keep losing them. And there's an interesting parallel to you say, well, I would have loved to raise on a farm now. Would you leave everything and go raise your kids on a farm?
