Introspection Is the Method of Knowing Psychology

Philosophy has to recognize first that you're conscious, which a lot of philosophies do not hold the materialist philosophies. The number of philosophers who accept the validity of introspection is really small. And the third point that you really need to understand the mind of a human being is free will. There are virtually no philosophers and no psychologists who accept that man has volitional control over his mind. So philosophy sets the parameters within which there can even be a science of psychology.
