I Respect Christian Pacifism
There's a long tradition of christian pacifism, and am i i respect and love them for that. We have a disagreement, though, and my view is that war ultimately should be aimed at towards restoring peace. As augustine says, we should have the spirit of a peacemaker as a soldier. I think within the christian tradition, there is a legitimate position for me to be a soldier and be part of a government. And i think we can listen to each other charitably and disagree and sortid out one dayye.
