Is Innovation a Good Thing?

i wonder what effect might this kind of, like ancial maelstrom have on the fact that genomediting programmes are potentially transformational for people with diseases. What's interesting, because it does feel like, in many ways, the wall street sentiment has decoupled from what you hear at medical meetings  from the sort of m d, phd types in a lot of these fields. We use the word innovation a lot but i think we also have to be very careful about what innovation means, because it also means displacement, and it means uncertainty.
