The Importance of Forgiveness
Forgiveness is not something that we do at the end of the day, but it is something that God does in through and for us. The reason that we can forgive is because God forgives. Everything in the Christian life is a matter of becoming like God. It's to become like God and to draw others into that. Yeah. So you pointed this out right on the cross. Not only do we have a model or an exemplar in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sense of like, hey, look at that guy over there forgiving. That's pretty fancy. I feel myself encouraged to forgive as well.
