Why Does Black Lives Matter Matter?

If you were to ask palestinians if they have an opinion on black lives matter, ye, i doubt tt whether they would even have heard of it. It's a much more a explicitly anti wests, anti western tradition in the sense that it sees the west explicitly and exclusively as qoron quot, the oppressive white man. And knowing absolutely nothing about israel, taking their understanding of american history with regard to slavery and jemcro and projecting it on to other countries histories, they then come to the conclusion that israel is an oppressor. This isn't necessarily true for local black lis matter chapters, who really don't.
