The Arthur Story
Some researchers think that there was a real person at the beginning and at the core of the arthur ology. Based on archaeological evidence and textual evidence, it seems as if around the middle of the dark age, there was a halt. We don't have a clear explanation of why this advance seems to have halted. This raises the question of whether some person or group managed to unify these celto roman statelets along the western side of britain and lead a more effective opposition to the anglo saxon advance.
