Up to a third of women were pregnant before they married. So this does, as you say, it does suggest that premarital sex was pretty common. One particularly stubborn misconception about this period in particular is that women never had sex before marriage. It's ridiculous. And we've been that way throughout time. You know, people get horny. They have sex. Like a lot of people are not married when they have sex. We're seeing like a normal part of courtship as a totally acceptable part of Courtship.
