How to Help Youth Sleep Hygiene
In high school, they still need 8 to 10 hours per night. I don't know any high school students that are getting that right now. That is a huge problem. What can we do? We need to help them learn about how to set their circadian rhythms. They need relaxation and decompression time throughout the day, but definitely before sleep. It's non-negotiable. As caregivers, we need to make sure we don't over commit youth.
