The Importance of Etiquette in Local Foraging
I love local foraging in Seattle because there's so many fruit trees. But the etiquette I think is the main blocker to it being adopted as it's unclear. We get winching a moaning about fruit on the pavement making a mess and rats. So there's always going to be an excuse, which is such a shame. It all helps because those trees are going to help cool the city with the transpiration. Their roots are going to hold the water and stop us from flooding. And if you, when it was wonderful walking around a city and you see a load of apples, you have an apple to eat.
