I was doing some writing for various publications, including some national publications and I became the editor of a magazine called Ramparts magazine. It published Shagavaras diaries and it did all kinds of exposés about sort of CIA activities and other nefarious things that the government was doing. And so, you know, and I was still pretty radical. And I was supporting my wife Lisa by doing freelance for freelance writing because that was the one way that I knew how to make some money. But after we had another child, a daughter, in 1977 whoops, where'd you go? You've been writing ever since.
