Turkey Launches Airstrikes in Syria and Iraq Over the Istanbul Bombing
Turkey carried out dozens of airstrikes in northern Syria and Iraq against Kurdish groups that it blamed for a recent deadly bombing. Dozens of people were reported killed in Turkey strikes in Syria. The Turkish Defense Ministry said on Sunday that its warplanes hit 89 targets across Syria and Iraq, claiming that they were all military infrastructure connected to the PKK.
