project amelia was founded to look at the disappearances of women between 19 71 and 19 98. Officers were sent to interview sex workers in the downtown east and note down any bad tricks they had encountered. Police also met with families of the missing women to collect dione samples. They planned to use this diene to identify any bodies they might find later on. But almost immediately, they had new names to add to the list. 31 year old julie louise young, of whom little is known. Angela jardine was 28 years old and cognitively and developed mentally disabled due to being deprived of oxygen at birth. This caused perceived behavior issues, including frequent emotional outbursts
