Platinus' Understanding of the One

The one is beyond anything we can say or think, according to Platinus. He takes Plato to mean that the good isn't a form after all but transcendent above realm of forms and thus beyond being. The extremes to which Platinus has led us are apt to make us wonder whether we should have followed him this far.
