Mark vernon: In your book, the philosipy of friendship, you end with this notion that philosophy and friendship share some common aims. Could you elaborate a bit on that? Nature has a very nice few paragraphs on this to actually reflect on. He starts in a very nician kind of way, a decrying the things that people call love. But then at the end he says, but sometimes you see another kind of love. And he says, what is this love? Its right name is friendship.
