"It was just campy. It's like, oh, no, bmacheti came out of nowhere," says Benoît Poirier. "I want to see falked up imagery." He adds that the film doesn't follow those cheesy horotropes such as friday the thirteenth or night we'r on home street. But it works into the theme of this family dynamic of it and so it's not just like jason being like, ha, ha. And so it's emotional pay off for it".
