The Liveability Index examines 173 cities around the world. The index takes into account all of the global and regional disruption that may have taken place over the last 12 months. Vienna has been the top scorer in our index for most of the last several years with the exception of 2021 when pandemic restrictions caused it to temporarily lose the top spot.
