Larence was born in detroit and moved to phoenix, Arizona with his family when he was six years old. Grew up going to a really white, very private christian school from first grade through twelfth grade. Took things seriously at college after having "a bit of a crisis of faith" Larence: I felt like it would be unfair for me to suppress that identity or not take note of that.
