The Soviet Undersea Espionage Program
The Soviets had their own very capable undersea espionage program as well. This submarine espionage program would uncover and expose cracks in the Soviet Union so that Soviet leaders could eventually see for themselves the risk of nuclear war engineered by renegade military elements. In certain regions of the ocean at great depths, our nuclear submarines began to more and more often collide with incomprehensible objects. Those who heard them always had a strong impression of completely conscious actions of unknown sound sources. The description given by Russian submariners was actually like a frog croaking. This was the sound made by these objects when they were detected on sonar. And of course the Russian Navy had no idea whatsoever what these things could be.
