Sarah Clifton By loves athletics and when she was 15, she was already breaking national records for shotput and javelin. She found out that her district athletics carnivals had separate points tallies for able-bodied athletes and athletes with disabilities. That meant she couldn't be the champion even if she got the best results. Sarah wrote to the people in charge of the carnival and asked to be included in the overall champion school tally. Her letters were read and the rules were changed. Thanks to Sarah, Sydney's private girls' schools will now make their sports carnivals more inclusive. And the news gets even better for Sarah? She's made it into the Australian Commonwealth Game of
