Caesar and the Pirates

We know bits and pieces of Caesar's early life, but they're mostly anecdotes from the biographies. He went to complete his education at Rhodes in the 70s BCE when he was taken hostage by pirates. The story is that while he was with the pirates, he joked with them. But if you go against Caesar, you are going to suffer. In the next episode we'll look at the political career of Julius Caesar.
