I've Never Had a Customer Tell Me I Was Asking Too Many Questions

I've never had a customer told me I was asking too many questions if you're asking thoughtful questions of people. People don't like to be sold to but they do like to learn things that will help them make better decisions. The one up one down idea which I really liked is it sort of took me back to early boss in my career that use the scorecard and graded every interaction we asked them as basically was a plus one or a minus one.
