Memetic Desire Is What Allows Us to Escape From Animal Realm
The desire jesus seeks for us to attain is his own desire, the one which shall lead us to resemble god. He imitates the father and asks us to imitate him. This is done out of e a love which turns us away from this rivalrous relationship with things. The imitation of other individuals would actually only lead us to rivalry, to mimetic violence, than thus more violence and internal violence. Memetic desire is surprisingly intrinsically good. It allows us to escape from animal realm.
