The History of Gambling
Gambling was almost felt as sort of shady, you know, living in states. The only way to do traditional betting non-daily fantasy was either to have a bookie or some people that would use offshore betting sites. So I think it was always considered a little shady, which caused us to maybe not talk about it publicly as much as we do today. But what I found really refreshing was instead of doing all of the stuff with the offshore sports books, we sort of started to create our own little betting ecosystems within friend groups. And that's where we started getting excited about betting and started to talk more about betting.
