The Nuance of Ancient Egyptian Fashion
Egyptomania exploded in the 1920s really because of the discovery of the tomb of King Tut. The objects that we do today are no different than what they did, says CNN's Nina dos Santos. Some of the more breathtaking pieces in the exhibition relate to the designs of Cartier. They did quite a bit of an Egyptian inspired designs in the 1920 and 1930s.
