The Importance of Being a Good Canvasser
I enjoyed my 20s, but I found it quite stressful. When did you first canvas with your dad or your mum? I think I must have been as young as seven or eight. And then he was the MP for Bristol Southeast. We would all go down as a family. And I remember it was quite fun because we'd stay in some place. All the families, you know, camping out somewhere. Of course, then the problem is hands and dogs and letterbox. Raw, kind of thing. So I've learned how to deal with that now. But this is 7 or 8 year old. I think I asked to be put on leaflet duty and leaflet duty.
