The Shadows, the Persistence of Shadows on the Wall
Rikker: I'm reminded plato, or socrates, and plato would call even writings, he likens them to sculptures. So this because they are inflexible. They don't move. That's not the only plato that i thought of, of course. He seems, by the way, interestingly enough, like in the gallegory, the cave, it's the opinions that are the shadows. Even all those people, for their flaws and for their miseries, are somehow preferable an debass life.
