Evolutionary biologists think that maybe we're more attracted to people who have very different immune systems to ourselves. Half of DNA comes from in a newborn child, comes from the mum and half from the dad. And you walk down the street, you see a family with their kids and you go, oh, they look like the dad or they all look like the mum. So evolution as Zoey pointed out is a numbers game.
